Discount for products also available for attributes?
Hi everyone,
I am not sure if a solution for this was already posted somewhere and if yes, where it may be found.
I've got following problem:
I have a product with a basic price which can be ordered as is. But it is also possible to add certain functions which add also some costs.
The basic price can be discounted by quantities of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 aso on a percentage base. But I can't get the attributes to use the same percentage discount for the same number. It always uses the full price.
For example: Product A costs $500. When ordering 10 pcs the price will be reduced by 5% at 25 pcs at 10% aso
Product A can be ordered additionally with product_A_addon_A and product_A_addon_B (either alone or both may be possible)
The base price for the first option is + $50 and for the second option it may be + $100
If the customer now orders 25 pcs the price for the basic product would be 10% less = $ 450
If he adds the first option to come with the product the options price should be reduced by 10% as well. Instead of $50 the price would add $45 to the basic price = $495 - what I can't get the program to manage. It will always add $50.
Maybe somebody can give me a hint where I can find a description how to set this up correctly.
BTW I want to use this for groups too. (retail, wholesale and special price per customer). I did have the discount correctly running with OsCommerce but couldn't get it to work correctly with groups. Now I hope to get it running with Zen-Cart.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas
