category descriptions

is there a word/character limit for product/category descriptions? i wanted to create a table and noticed that the last characters would be chopped off. THANKS:wacko:

I don't know about category descriptions, but product descriptions in the product listing page are truncated, and HTML is disabled in them to avoid the problem you mention. You can set the length shown to 2000 or something longer than you will ever use, and re-enable HTML - search for zen_clean_html to find threads where this is explained.
