Changing font color for sale/special pricing

The red font color used to mark specials and sales doesn't work well with the background of my template. Where do I go to change this, and can I make the text bold too?

Look for this section in your css:

.productSpecialPrice, .productSalePrice, .productSpecialPriceSale, .productPriceDiscount, .alert

I always change it from the default as well... too orange-y red! Then I find all of the red's in the css, and change them to my favorite red.

Yup - thank you!

I also learned how to make text highlighted and bold (in my case I use yellow as my highlighting)

background-color: #FFFF00;
font-weight: bold;
