Downloading from remote to my xampp - struggling

I've been struggling with this for weeks.
Last time I had no admin, but having re-read the wiki, I'm going in again.
BUT where the wiki says "Download all your old site's files via FTP" I'm unclear what it means.
In the remote ftp there's this:

www.aswab.co.uk/ipw3.jpg

with the database name adminInterfa3
with the following structure

www.aswab.co.uk/ipw4.jpg

under it. I can download the lot, but where (on earth) do I put it?

My zen cart root directory looks like this:

www.aswab.co.uk/ipw5.jpg

Where on earth do I put the files.
Please?

FTP is only for the files and these go in your XAMP www dir
You need to also grab a DB Backup from what ever your host provides for this and then load this to your local DB using phpmyadmin

I've done that - the phpmyadmin bit, and unpacked it, and did everything it said in the wiki, and had no admin.

and the feedback was that I needed to re-download the files. Is this just a need to re-download the pgpmyadmin type files, or are there other files I need to download.
