Don't know how to import MySQL DB....PLS HELP!

...Many questions from a Ground Zero Rookie....
.......These should be my "last" customization concerns:

1. How do I import/connect ZCart to MySQL DB? My host gave me this PHP connection string: *

$dbh=mysql_connect ("localhost", "sicoinsc_zc2", "<PASSWORD HERE>") or die ('I cannot connect to the database because: ' . mysql_error());
mysql_select_db ("sicoinsc_zc2");

(Where "sicoinsc_zc2" is my DB name)

What do I do with that??????...(looks like Martian-Lingo to me..!)

2) What is the fields format I should define for my DB (I assume there must be a specific format) ? (I found something at Wiki, but not very specific)

Step1 - unzip the zencart files and install them on your webhost.
Step2 - point your browser to your store. Since this is a first time install (by the sounds of it), you'll be greeted with the zencart setup/configuration pages.

When you come to the database connection settings, enter 'localhost' for the servername, sicoinsc_zc2 for the username, your password in the password field, and sicoinsc_zc2 for the database name.
The zencart install script will then create all the required tables for you.

I already had my store up and running, and the installation/unzipping was done directly through my host's cpanel, so it never prompted me for any connection settings (as far as I remember)

Do you know any way to do that with the store already installed (eg through ....store/admin)?**

If its "up and running" I don't see what your problem is????
