IE6: Image Handler Hover Obscured by Attribute Option Dropdown Menu

Hi Zenners,

I am working on making my store compatible with IE6 and have just discovered a new problem (only in IE6 - works okay in Mozilla and Firefox, but not sure about IE7 but I think it should be fine in IE7):

In my product info pages, when I mouseover an image that is directly above my attribute option menu, the option menu overlaps the image. This does not happen with the image directly above the "tell a friend" button on the opposite side of the page.

I have searched the forums extensively and experimented for hours with changing the z-index in my ie6_style_imagehover.css (IE6 stylesheet override) as well as inserting a z-index everywhere in my ie6_stylesheet.css that I though might have something to do with attributes, but to no avail.
