echeck fail and order status

echeck fail and order status

Hi,

I'm running into a possible problem. I was testing failed echecks and i noticed that the order is still staying as processing instead of going to a different status (eg: failed). Here is the status in the order log...

I noticed it also didn't cancel the gift certificates.

Your log shows it set to "pending", not "processing".

If you wish it to be set to something else, change the "Refund Order Status" in your PayPal module's configuration settings to a different order status.

We have had a "failed" Paypal echeck payment and the status was reset to new.
Pending is set to pending, completed is set to new and refund is set to pending (which it should be). I don't see any setting that would allow failed echecks to go to a canceled type status.
