EZPage as homepage?

I'm creating a site that is mostly a shopping cart, but the client wants a homepage to explain their products...then a shopping cart. So, can I create a non shopping cart page (the homepage) with EZPages?

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks

Use define main index page facility via admin/Tools..
then configure left and right side boxes
to be absent/not show on main index page.. done..
