How to remove category display from center box

Hi,

I have a store located at https://www.axcelsports.com/store

When you click on a top level category, in the center box it shows all of the subcategories for that category and the featured products that are located in that category. I would like to remove the additional links to the categories, as it seems too repetitive.

Any ideas?

I really can't find anything in the admin for this.. can someone tell me if its not in the admin section?

First, do you have any idea how annoying it is to have to turn off that sudden roar of sound on every page refresh? Maybe some people will like it, but that would drive me away from your site forever, even if I wanted your products.

Now for your question, did you find a fix in the last 45 minutes? You only have one category with subcats, and none of the subcats show in the center when the topcat is clicked, only a few products.

From a quick view source, you have a Template Monster template, which means there will be a lot of admin switches that have been disabled. Changing the look/function of many elements will require TM code expertise, which we don't have here.

PS - I don't know if everyone will see this, but in Firefox it looks like your footer is scrunched over to the right of the right column instead of at the bottom. Something needs attention there.

This site is for a customer. I tried to talk him out of that ridiculous music.. but you know how that goes.

I did fix the category situation.

I still can't figure out what's going on with the footer though..

Maybe when the customers stay away he'll listen to reason...

The footer is another case of TM having replaced the stock ZC display with their own version, instead of styling the ZC version. The weird part is that whenever I activate Edit CSS or Edit HTML to try fixes, the display pops back to normal, so I can't test anything.

Mind posting the solution for the category problem? I have the same problem and can't figure out for the life of me how ti fix it!!

Ok, figured it out... I commented out everything in the includes/modules/category_row.php file, and it works beautifuly! :yes:
