Html area

I know this has been talked about many times before but im still wondering has anyone figured how to make html area work on Mac

Yes... fellow Mac user, here. I'm using Mac OS X with Mozilla Firefox, and HTMLarea is working for me with the products, as I hoped.

Check to see that HTMLarea is turned on for Admin-related emails, newsletters and product descriptions here:

Admin -> Configuration -> HTML Editor

(*HTML Editor is near the bottom of the list.)

It should work now, when you go to edit a product. However, if it's still not working... if you are using Safari, I would recommend that you download Firefox or Opera. I recently switched over completely from using Safari, because while it's generally cool, I found that there are a lot of problems in how it displays some sites, forms, ability to click options, and time-saving tools such as HTMLarea... I have yet to have such a problem with Firefox on the same sites.

As an alternative, you can also try installing the TinyMCE application under 'Admin' in the Zen Cart downloads/add-ons section, but I read on the forums here that Safari seems to have trouble with that also. I haven't used TinyMCE, but from what I understand, it's just another option for formatting.
