Automatic Currency Selection for a domain

Hi,

I currently have two domain names setup and each one is listed for different countries. They are both pointing back to the same host.

What I would like to do is to have it automatically select the currency for the country it's coming from. E.g.

  1. zre.com.au selects Australia Dollars
  2. zre.co.nz selects New Zealand Dollars

I have both currencies already installed, I'm just trying to figure out how to have it select automatically without having the user select it everytime a page changes. (Currently it's defaulting to Australia Dollars)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Tyrone.

Re: Automatic Currency Selection for a domain

Hi,

Thanks for the reference download Ryk.

Though, from what I understand this add-on does is that it checks the client's end first and then determines it from there. I don't need it to be too fancy.

I just want to force the currency to display automatically. E.g. If they log into:

The New Zealand site (dbv.co.nz) it will only show them the products in NZ Dollars.

or if a visitors goes to the Australian Site:

It will only show them the products in Australian Dollars.

Is that possible?

Thanks.

Not one of my strong fields, but don't you have to find out where the client is from (ie. check the client end first) to know what to show them?

As to whether it's possible - well, just about anything is as long as you either have the skill yourself or the willingness to pay someone who has.
