again, that code removes the sideboxes from the home page only, they are still listed on all other pages, which is not what I want. I want to remove the sideboxes from all pages, but have sideboxes on the home page.

Slight typo on my part, missed out the exclamation mark, should have read> $flag_disable_right = !$this_is_home_page;but this doesn't explain why you got no result, it should just been backwards. Are you using an old version of Zen Cart?

I am using latest version of zen cart (1.3.7). I am using theme version 1.1.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. The code testuser was giving me was reversing everything. The code(s) you have given me don't result in any changes...

It's not having any effect because you've placed it in the middle of a comment block.
I suggest moving it (without the asterisk) to the gap above the line that reads> $header_template = 'tpl_header.php';

How about drop-down menu/category tabs are initially hidden with something in their place like "Click here for Categories," then when clicked on - fully expand, showing categories?
