Only getting around a dozen orders a day. Any suggestions?

I'm only getting around 10 orders a day and I think I should be getting more, considering the endless hours I've put into the site. Any suggestions on how to increase sales? My website is https://www.retro36.co.uk

Hi Winks, Im not sure if this has anything to do with it or not nut the colors ( at least on my laptop ) are so bright and clashing that I had to close the site before it finished loading,

it actually hurt my eyes.

Please DO NOT take my statements as negative

How long have you been open?
What kind of advertising/promotion do you do?
How many visitors are you getting?

It doesn't matter how much effort you put into building the site; what matters is how many of the right people see it and what they think of it (or more accurately "feel" - you don't want them thinking too much, just buying ;)

I've noted the comments about the colours. I'll look into it.

My shop has been open for 8 years but my website has only been 'live' for just over a year. Although my current website using Zen Cart has only been 'live' since March.

I have the web address on all my carrier bags (I have a bricks and mortar shop), stationery, emails and also on signs in my shop window. I also have various links on other peoples websites. i have a link on my About Me page in my Ebay shop.

I'm getting around a thousand page hits a day and about 100 unique visits a day.
