different shipping price for diff prods

I wanna setup shipping based on different types of products. i have hoods, t-shirts, and long sleeves in their own categories. i wanna base the prices on their weights. for ex: if hoods weigh 4lbs shipping should be $5, if t-shirts are 2lbs shipping should be $3. how can i do this? i am really confused. my site link: http://prudentialintl.com/shop/

Are you trying to base this on a T-Shirt weighs 2lbs charge $x.xx and if a Hood weighs 2lbs charge $y.yy ... or are you just wanting to charge by weight?

thx for reply, i want to charge by weight. heres wat im lookin for: if tshirts are 2lbs and hoods 4lbs. if some1 buys a tshirt shipping should be $3, and if some1 buys a hood shipping should be $5... if sum1 buys a hood and a tshirt.. shipping should be $8.. OR simply this way: all tshirts shipping cost is $3.. all long sleeves: $4.. and all hoods: $5... i hope im making sense.. thanks.

You could use the Per Unit perweightunit Shipping Module where you set the products_weight to be the shipping cost ...
