Authorize.net Error all of a sudden

When You go through the check out process on my store the follow error occurs at cehck out with authorize.net:

Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

No code or anything, just that. This even happens when both the store and authorize.net are in testing mode.

I did live chat with authorize.net and they said they have gotten no errors.

Any ideas???

In your post title you said "all of a sudden".

When was it working without errors?
Has it "ever" worked?
Does it work properly in "production" mode instead of "test" mode?
When did it "suddenly" have a problem?
What have you changed on your site around the time this "suddenly" happened?
What has your hosting company changed on your server around the time when this "suddenly" happened?

What version of Zen Cart are you using?
Which Authorize.net module are you using?
Who is your hosting company?

Sorry to be so vague. Here are the details:

• ZC version: 1.3.0.2
• Authorize.net AIM Version: authorizenet_aim.php 3308 2006-03-29
• I am the Host
• The Module does not work in Test or Production

The store does not have that many orders but yes the Module has worked before. I do not believe I have changed anything. I have updated PHP to version 4.4.6.

Is there a newer version of the module I can install???

A newer module is built-in to v1.3.7, and a beta upgraded version being built for v1.3.8 was posted here:

I haven't compared for backward compatibility as far back as v1.3.0.2. But you could give it a try if you like.

I downloaded that update and transactions work perfectly now. Thank you very much for your help and patience!

I'm just testing the cart, and have the same error webrob had, even though
am using ZC 1.3.7.....installed 6/20/07, and it says in Admin that it appears to
be the latest version.

Using PHP v.4.4.7, MySQL 4.0.27

I tried creating a different customer account with new address, etc
but it still gives me the same error.

Does it mean that at least Authorize.net is connected and
just needs more info from the customer?

I used the visa card number 4007000000027 for testing approval.
I only have Authorize.ne installed as the payment module.

Authorize.net AIM accepts manual transactions. I went to phpMyAdmin, but
don't know what to look for.

I am not sure what to say about your error. Did you generate the correct credentials from the authorize.net merchant area?

When I filled out the form in Authorize.net using the credit card number for
testing in the Virtual Terminal, it said the transaction was accepted, and
a confirmation email was sent.

When I use the form in ZenCart with the same info, I get the error and
a confirmation email (?)
