For just the list, #categories ul and add: font-size:??em

or

**Categories sidebox content area, #categoriesContent add add: font-size:??em **

**Do one or the other, not both. ** The top one will size the category links, whereas the bottom one will size the font of the sidebox content area.

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template

I love the look of your template. I'm looking for a change and yours is the best Zen Cart template i've seen. Would it be possible for my web designer who uses templates to build all his websites, to hack the template to create rounded edges?

Cheers,

Winks

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template

Specially signed up for the forum thanks to Acadame theme. Love the overall look and feel. Am an extreme newbie at Zen but its pretty nice and easy to configure.. :)

I'm trying to get the following layout going:

  • No shopping-cart/currency/language bar at the top
  • A higher logo bar, full length of the table but something like 150-200px high
  • Under that a drop down of the categories and common pages links
  • Shopping cart (similar to the one default in Acadame) as a left module
  • Large banner stretching the content panel from left to right but again about 200px high (maybe in swf)
  • Background of the table would be slightly shaded to achieve a pop-out feeling

It'll take some time to complete, but the first question I got is: How do I remove the shopping cart, but leave a bigger logo bar stretching from left to right? If I set the disable_header option, the whole header (including the categories bar is gone :)

Appreciate your suggestions!

Acadame or Atheme?

csshover.htc has no relevance in Acadame.

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template

If I am not mistaken ... csshover.htc belongs to the CSS Flyout for the add-on for Categories box ...

I apologize I posted in the wrong thread, Atheme is the layout I am asking for. My logs shows a lot of hits to it, I'd like to know what I can do.

Try this ... rename the files to something other the csshover.htc, and comment out the markup in the css ... /* before the markup */ at the end of the markup.

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template

I love your template. Really good work. I jsut am having one problem...

The red header at the top of my page is not working. This is on a fresh install of Zen Cart and I believe I followed the instructions to enable EZ Pages. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Evan

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template

Hi all...

First of all...
´Testuser´you did really great work, this is the first free Zencart design which is AWESOME...You did such a graet work and even greater to share this with others for free. Thats very nobel of you, thank you very much.
I already have a quite nice design, but I downloaded yours for testing, please dont get me worng, just want to learn and see what kind of changes I can do and maybe one day I switch to the ´testing´one.

Installing the template, I got some problems:

  1. I know this is a ´tough´one, but I cant get IT work. I tried now for hours and read this thread back and forth, but no solution...
The EZ-PAGES, actually I know how to use them, I have them on my current website, but here i cant get it work, feel like :frusty:
Checked all setting, compared to the settings I use where it works...and NOTHING.. here is the site https://www.clickyshop.com/test

Please, any idea?

  1. How can I get the ´main wrapper´ shadowed?

  2. Somehow the sidebox New products isnt showing correctly, dont what I missed there either...

Help is very much appreciated.

On the other hand I thought, I also may contribute with something, if anybody is interested in a set of buttons, but before i make a set, would like to show it, there maybe some suggestions or else, dont know if they match nicely with the design, even not able to use the buttons.
I wanted to try one out in includes/templates/template_default/buttons, but wont change them...also tried to make a new folder called buttons like in template_default, but also no change...did I miss something?
Anyway, if anybody is interested, please let me know.

Regards,
kruna

You need to adjust the size of your left and right columns in the Layout Settings under Configuration.

Then, for the EZ-Pages, make sure under Configuration :: EZ-Pages Settings that you have the EZ-Pages Header Bar set to on. Then you need to need to have links set to appear in the header. You do this under Tools, EZ-Pages. Under the table heading "Header" if you don't see any green status images, the red bar won't display.

Not sure what you mean by "main wrapper shadowed?"

When setting EZ-Pages ... you need to make sure the sort is higher than "0". That should get your runnin!

Tip: When creating EZ-Pages, create their sorts in increments of 10 ( 10, 20, 30). This way if you ever need to add a page later you can place it with ease. Whereas if you sorted 1,2,3,4,5 and so on you'd have to change sorts of 5 different pages for instance.

I'll work a shadow into the next release. It requires you to make two containing divs of the mainWrapper. One with the left shadow, one with the right.

The buttons look nice. Buttons would go > "includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/buttons/english/button_whatever.gif"

Zen will override the default button with your button when placed like above. Simply match the default template button name to yours.
