Credit Card Images for Payment Page not appearing
This was posted on another forum - and the thread 'died' of its own inertia. So, I am trying here - hopefully it is in the right place.

Basically, I installed the contribution for updating the credit card images on my website. (Credit Card Images for Payment Page by Ben Catanzaro). My story (and I am sticking too it - smile) is that I followed the directions to the letter. The images did not appear. I installed the credit card module to see if that had any affect - again no luck. I posted all this on another forum and had a few suggestions and other complainers - no success - ultimately the thread died.
Attached is a jpg of where I think the images should appear - am I totally off base?

I am using ver 1.3.7

Aren't credit cards on the payment page stock Zen? Go to admin/configuration/credit cards. At the bottom of the page select "Credit Card enabled - Show on Payment"

The images themselves are found in includes/templates/template_default/images/icons/. You need to obtain cc images from the net, name your new images the same as the old (ie. cc1, cc2 etc.) and place them in your over-ride folder:
/includes/templates/template_custom/images/icons/

Unless I'm missing a step, (Always a possibility!) that should do it.

You are absolutely correct in everything you said - and I have done all those things and it does not work...

The only thing that is different on my site is PHP is 5.2.1 instead of 4.x and I am using a Windows NT server instead of an Apache (please do not strike my body).

Just for 'grabs' I added the images to every icon folder and images folder in ZEN-CART, including my 'template_custom' thinking that I had maybe placed them in the wrong folder.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond - perhaps I just should add them to the page manually... Whatever is wrong, is wrong for other folks too... that is why I was part of the other thread.

On another topic... I like your handle, 'Meltdown.' Many years ago I was a nuclear power plant operator - and it was an unmentionable word (smile).

Hi Jund - I'm a glass beadmaker by trade and constantly melting and twirling and twisting glass, hence the name. Also, occaisionally, I have a mental meltdown while trying to install some mod or another here in Zen-land. :cool:

Can you see your cc image if you post the full URL in your web browser?

For example:

http://www.YourSite.com/includes/templates/template_custom/images/icons/cc1.gif

Back to the images. I place index.html pages in most of my image or icon folders for protection. However, my folder, when accessed as you suggest does display the graphic - there is no question that it is there - I am going to take a look at the code and see if I have messed it up somehow... in the meantime, thank you.

Went back and looked at my template page. I had commented out the code for displaying the credit card graphics (May 25th). I was embarrassed:lamo: because I thought I had created the problem...

however; I went back and uploaded ORIGINAL code for the page. Now instead of the graphics it displays the text: **TABLE_HEADING_PAYMENT_METHOD **where the graphics are supposed to be displayed.

I went back to my notes for May 25th, and found that I had intentionally commented out the php that displays the graphics because it presented the text (above) instead of the graphics.

Here is the code:

It does in fact say echo TABLE_HEADING_METHOD and perhaps I have messed that up somewhere else?

BOTTOM LINE:
How do I get my cc images back on the page and at the same time get rid of the TABLE_HEADING_PAYMENT_METHOD.

Below is what the page looks like re:paypal_error.jpg.
Tried the following:

1. Reloaded paypal module php page
2. Reloaded payment page
3. Changed text for paypal module (I added the word 'don't' and thought maybe I failed to escape it, e.g., Don't - but I had escaped it.
