Can't Find Order in Admin

I am working local; using 1.3.7 and PP IPN with the latest patch installed.
I entered a test order. It went all the way through to PayPal including return to merchant.
I won't be getting a response back to my local site from PayPal, but shouldn't I be able to see the order in Admin? There should only be this one order in ZC.

Not in Admin-->Customers-->Orders.
Not in Admin-->Customers-->PayPal IPN
Not in Admin-->Reports-->Customer Orders-Total
Not in Admin-->Reports-->Products Purchased

Did you receive any emails?

If you search by order number can you find the order?

If you look under Customers ... do you see an order on that customer?

Also if you turn on Check/Money Order can you complete an order?

I tried Check/Money Order - partial success.

Customer can complete Step 3.
On selecting "Confirm Order":- customer gets white screen- hitting back page on browser returns customer to step 3 of 3 to confirm order

• item still in shopping cart
• meanwhile, in Admin- order shows under customer
• inventory decremented by 1
• items purchased report has item incremented by 1
• customer logs out/then logs back in- shopping cart is still full and can be taken through step 3

Sounds like you have bad, missing or corrupt files so the order does not complete properly ...

Start by reloading all of the files for:
/includes/modules/pages/checkout_WHOEVER/.

Test with Check/Money Order until you find what file(s) are bad, missing or corrupt on your server ...

I don't have a directory named checkout_WHOEVER. Just checkout_: confirmation, payment, payment address, process, shipping, shipping address and success.
Is your WHOEVER referring to all of these?

was so I did not have to type them all ... :cool:

I just did a WinMerge of my includes/modules/pages against the extracted install files. All files are identical. I'll download again and use the files from the new.

Also check that your directory:
/includes/languages/english/html_includes/your_template_dir

has all the files that are in:
/includes/languages/english/html_includes

and that the permissions are set so the files can be read ...

I am getting this after clicking Confirm Order:
Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

Completed these steps and am back to getting a blank page after hitting the Confirm Order button.

I have no idea how it happened, but I had an order complete successfully.
Perhaps my PC just needed a reboot.
