From OSCommerce to Zen Cart

I know that Zen Cart is based on OSCommerce with more features added to it. I am currently using OSCommerce, how hard will it be to migrate as OSCommerce user to Zen Cart? I assuming most of the configurations concept will be roughly similar right?

That statement was true 4 years ago. Zen Cart has made tremendous progress since then. While our roots are common we are not just the other shopping cart with some mods added.

You can map your Database to Zen Cart's but they don't just drop in. There is an article in the FAQs on how to do it.
