Disable customer reviews

I thought this was a simple feature within the Admin section, but I cannot find it. At this point I do not want my customers to see the option to write or read reviews.

log in as admin..catalog..then product types, then
right hand button on screen i.e.
edit layout..click..
option to turn off tell a friend/read/write reviews
is there

Now how do I disable "Reviews" in its entirety... from site map and everywhere else? Thanks in advance.
