Remove The Category Name From Blue Bar On Top Of Screen

hi everyone this may sound like a weird question but im giving it a shot anyways. Is there any way to hide the category name in the blue bar at the top of the screen. Every time you click on a category it shows the category name or item name and number. Is there a way to hide this so it only shows what i have defined the store name and slogan. When the item and the category show up it cuts off most of what i want to show.

i don't know if this will pose other problems or if its even possible, any feedback would be great.

This is a very helpful feature for both customers, and for search engine rankings. The title of the page is one of the most important things for search engines. I personally would never turn it off, but you may have your reasons. :clap:

You can turn off Model and Price easily in the admin, under "Configuration", "Product Info":

Meta Tags - Include Product Model in Title
Meta Tags - Include Product Price in Title

The rest would require a significant rewrite of includes/modules/meta_tags.php
