States not entered into address_book

When a user creates an account and specifies the U.S. as his country, the state field in the address_book table is left blank. The only way for the state to be added into the state field is if the user enters a country other than the U.S.

In addition, entry_country_id and entry_zone_id, which is the numerical code for the state, get entered into their respective fields whenever a user creates an account. However, the state field is left blank unless a country other than the USA is selected.

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Clean install or an upgrade?

If an upgraded, are you sure you did not miss files as the address issues were a major issue in v1.3.5 ... and I think clear and good in v1.3.6 (been a long day) ... if you upgraded correctly ... :smile:
