Style sheet help (UL and LI)

Ok, I am trying to accomplish something that I believe can be done the way I am trying to, but I am running into some issues...

I would like to show 5 columns with a list of my categories in them. Due to space I am using an overflow... You can see what I mean here - http://74.52.136.194/~onlinefa/store/test_sq247.htm

In IE it loads in the 5 columns like I would like. However in Firefox it is nothing like I want. Does anyone know what I am missing or doing wrong in my .css to make this not work in Firefox?

Also, if there is a better way to accomplish this please let me know.

Lastly, how can I adjust the <li> items in the list to not indent so much to the right? I want them to be left justified if possible.

I guess I need to keep trying before I give up. This is 3 times I posted and then finally figured it out. Sorry for the waste of a thread.

Perhaps if you would explain how and what you figured out, it could help someone else with the same or a similar problem?
