how do I change my header navigation?

dr byte,
ive been reading for hours and you seem to have the answers to what im looking for but its just not working for me...
take a look at my site

i would like to have my navigation next to (not top or bottom) my header image.
you can see where the image background color (green) drops down and continues to the right of the page. this is where i would like my navigation (mens womens designs) and above that but still to the right of my header image i would like to have stacked vertical my links for home login/register and search.
i would really appareciate some help since ive been going at this for 4 hours and just cant seem to get the links placed where i need them

again moving all of my navigation (home, login, search, mens, womens designs) to be on top of my header image in the blank spot on the right...

I haven't been "zenned" enough to help you out here - sorry. :(

But, I've been here long enough to know that Powered By = Zen Cart, unless you wrote the codes for the sytlesheets!

well thanks for the reply at least... im sitting here hitting refresh hoping anyone will have a clue... seems like people dont like me or something :blush:

what did i do? this is probably the 4th post in the last week that i have posted with questions and everyone is ignoring me... the person who posted above me has 3 pages already and i cant get anyone to even point me in the right direction...? did i piss people off or something?

Had you posted in page layout changes, you may have received an answer by now. While css is very powerful. What you are wanting to do would be done by manipulating the placement of the divs in the tpl_header.php file.

Get yourself a copy of firefox with the web developer, firebug, and html validator addons. They'll help you see what needs to be moved.

Furthermore, as you hit refresh waiting for attention, you can look at the bottom of each thread for links to similar questions that may have been answered in a way that will help.

And... whilst waiting, please read the do's and don'ts for posting. You'll be pleased with the results if you follow those guidelines.

there is a contribution in downloads that might do what you want with the nav links
