multiple product layouts

I'm a newbie, and have managed to confuse myself as to how to get the results I'm after. :frusty:

I need to be able to have at least 2 different product layouts. One a standard look with one product, description, price, add to cart. I've been able to create that just fine.

I also need to be able to have a layout with multiple products on a page - 1 image on the page, and the rest of the info in a table set up with product title, qty in box, 2 different attribute list boxes, price, qty field, and add to cart button. I've been reviewing the faq, etc. I see how I can use iframes in an ez page - but don't know how to include the attribute list boxes/qty field/add to cart. I see there is a download for a grid look - but I don't want the same look for all products. I know I can create a custom product display template, but I'm experienced in html, and not so much in psp.

Any direction you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
