Somthing funky has happened to my header...

http://www.pastgenerationtoys.com/

The part of my header that holds the search box sticks out further than the upper header and main page. Have a look-see if you like. Where can I go to adjust that? Any help or leads are greatly appreciated! :smile:

Thanks! PGT

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

O.k. PG, I got it, now. Looks like you've got 3 stylesheets that your site is trying to use. You should only have one, to avoid conflicts like this. In your stylesheet_new.css, find these lines:

#navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {
margin: 0em;
background-color: #ffffff;
font-weight: bold;
color: #9a9a9a;
height: 1%;
width: 100%;
}

and change the width to 95%, to make it look like this:

#navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {
margin: 0em;
background-color: #ffffff;
font-weight: bold;
color: #9a9a9a;
height: 1%;
width: 95%;
}

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

Thanks so much! I had to make it 99.5% to work!

I am having a another issue that I am hoping you can help me with.

When a cutomer is not looged I the shipping estimator doesnt work. It seem the value for State is not be captured or passed as it always comes back "Please Select" even though it was selected. Any idea how to correct this? Thanks! PGT

Here is the actual thread - http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68638

Thanks again for the fix!

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

Almost......see......it's still there....hanging out, but just barely, but enough to cut your border. Try making that a 99.4%

Hmm....the shipping estimator, huh? Well, I don't know. I just checked mine, while logged out, and it worked just fine, so something must be wrong, somewhere. Just don't know where. Might try to find another copy of shipping_estimator.php, and compare them with each other. Here's the part of mine that concerns "not logged-in customers. Maybe it will provide you with somethingdifferent from yours, and help resolve the problem:

// user not logged in !
    if (isset($_POST['country_id'])){
      // country is selected
      $_SESSION['country_info'] = zen_get_countries($_POST['country_id'],true);
      $country_info = $_SESSION['country_info'];
      $order->delivery = array('postcode' => $zip_code,
                               'country' => array('id' => $_POST['country_id'], 'title' => $country_info['countries_name'], 'iso_code_2' => $country_info['countries_iso_code_2'], 'iso_code_3' =>  $country_info['countries_iso_code_3']),
                               'country_id' => $_POST['country_id'],
                               //add state zone_id
                               'zone_id' => $state_zone_id,
                               'format_id' => zen_get_address_format_id($_POST['country_id']));
      $_SESSION['cart_country_id'] = $_POST['country_id'];
      //add state zone_id
      $_SESSION['cart_zone'] = $state_zone_id;
      $_SESSION['cart_zip_code'] = $zip_code;
    } elseif ($_SESSION['cart_country_id']){
      // session is available
      $_SESSION['country_info'] = zen_get_countries($_SESSION['cart_country_id'],true);
      $country_info = $_SESSION['country_info'];
      // fix here - check for error on $cart_country_id
      $order->delivery = array('postcode' => $_SESSION['cart_zip_code'],
                               'country' => array('id' => $_SESSION['cart_country_id'], 'title' => $country_info['countries_name'], 'iso_code_2' => $country_info['countries_iso_code_2'], 'iso_code_3' =>  $country_info['countries_iso_code_3']),
                               'country_id' => $_SESSION['cart_country_id'],
                               'format_id' => zen_get_address_format_id($_SESSION['cart_country_id']));
    }

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

includes/modules/shipping_estimator.php
includes/languages/English/popup_shipping_estimator.php
includes/templates/template_default/tpl_modules_shipping_estimator.php

That's the 3 you should have. The code I showed you above is from the first file in this list.

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

I do have all the files.. so thats good! The difference is that my code has the word zone_ infront of stat and country... is that the issue?

// country is selected

  $_SESSION['country_info'] = zen_get_countries($_POST['zone_country_id'],true);

  $country_info = $_SESSION['country_info'];

  $order->delivery = array('postcode' => $zip_code,

                           'country' => array('id' => $_POST['zone_country_id'], 'title' => $country_info['countries_name'], 'iso_code_2' => $country_info['countries_iso_code_2'], 'iso_code_3' =>  $country_info['countries_iso_code_3']),

                           'country_id' => $_POST['zone_country_id'],

                           //add state zone_id

                           'zone_id' => $state_zone_id,

                           'format_id' => zen_get_address_format_id($_POST['zone_country_id']));

  $_SESSION['cart_country_id'] = $_POST['zone_country_id'];

  //add state zone_id

  $_SESSION['cart_zone'] = $state_zone_id;

  $_SESSION['cart_zip_code'] = $zip_code;

} elseif ($_SESSION['cart_country_id']){

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

May be. I've got 1live site and 3 test sites, and NONE of 'em have zone in the code at that point.

Re: Somthing funky has happened to my header...

Yahtzee!!! I removed the word "zone" and it works!!! :clap:

The estimator doesnt use the value for state. It only uses the zip code. Can I remove the state selection all together from the pop-up?

Yes, you may. In includes/modules/shipping_estimator.php, remove ALL instances of lines that include the word "state".
In includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_shipping_estimator.php,
remove these lines:

<label class="inputLabel"><?php echo ENTRY_STATE; ?></label>
<?php echo zen_draw_pull_down_menu('state',$state_array, $state_zone_id); ?>
<br class="clearBoth" />
