Flat Rate and Free Shipping questions

Hi all,

I would like to offer the following shipping methods :

Orders over $300 :
Free shipping to Country A
Flat rate $20 to Country B
Flat rate $30 to Country C
Flat rate $40 to Country D

Orders under $300 :
Flat rate $10 for Country A
Flat rate $50 for Country B
Flat rate $60 for Country C
Flat rate $60 for Country D

(Only 4 countries needed)

Also hide the flat rate option when order is eligible for free shipping.

What is the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Sorry not an answer I know am in the same space... I would also like to know what to do to adjust shipping rates between zones. (3 created zones, one FREE SHIPPING, the other two some sort of shipping rate). I just CAN NOT work this out!!

I ended up using Table Rate... but I still haven't figured out how to hide all other shipping options when an order qualifies for free shipping...
