website looks messed up on Internet explorer

i think its the newest version of IE that my website looks messed up on.
it looks like this:

my host said it was a problem related to how i changed around the code on my zen cart site. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
it works fine with some Internet explorers but not the newer version of it

This is a guess, but try adding
<br class="clearBoth" />

immediately after the last </div> statement in your includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_header.php

I tried that and nothing changed

What is the logo height in the css or in the header.php language file?

could you please tell me where in the css to look for the size. i dont see a specification for size in the header.php. is that located in :

and a height declaration to match the header background/logo image

I just checked your site.

the #logowrapper height declaration is 75px

Your header background is 197px in height.

make the height declaration in #logowrapper 197px and I think everything should look OK

my header_php says:
define('HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH', '747px');
define('HEADER_LOGO_HEIGHT', '197px');

initially my css code said:

#logoWrapper{
background-image: url(../images/header_bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: #ffffff;
height:75px;
}

and i changed it to:

#logoWrapper{
background-image: url(../images/header_bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: #ffffff;
height: 197px;
width: 747px;
}

i dont have that version of IE thats messed up. can someone please confirm that this has fixed the problem?
