Not Getting Emails HELP!!! Godaddy hosted

Hi All

i had been trying for ages to sort my email out when i send my self a e-mail via the contact us page i do not recive the email also when a customer purchases i recive no email to confirm this i have tried all of the transport methods ,these are my settings

my account is with godaddy and im running a virdual dedicated server on linux
all help appriciated.:blink:

Wipe out the following in your config:

SMTP Email Account Mailbox [email protected] Info
SMTP Email Account Password ****** Info
SMTP Email Mail Host smtpout.secureserver.net Info

(You don't need it on a Linux box.)

and set the:

Email Transport Method to "PHP".

I've worked with Zen on GoDaddy a number of times, and have had no problems.

I get an error when I use PHP and GoDaddy...when I switch to sendmail or sendmail -f it appears to work but the e-mails never arrive. I've tested with numerous e-mail addy's and none every show up.

I do have email archived and they appear to be sent in the email archiver viewer...

Any ideas?

I've tried everything on the Wiki to no avail. I've tried everything under the sun. The only thing that doesn't return an error is when the transport method is on sendmail. Here is something even more weird...

I have a different domain and setup zencart and use the php mailer and it works fine. Do you suppose some settings somewhere got mucked up? Could I replace the e-mail files and that might clear it up? If so, which ones do I need to copy over?

What version of Zen Cart is running on each site?
What addons/contributions are installed?
What's different between the hosting of the two sites?

Hosting is exactly the same:
https://www.thesaltwatergeeks.com - working site (fresh install with no mods)
https://www.theelectronicdepot.com - non-working site (mods installed)

I've installed:
cross sell
google checkout
email archiver
advanced cross-sell
better together
auction lister pro

I also installed an SSL certificate. I changed this to false and it still is doing the exact same thing

Do any of these mods modify the e-mail files?

Is there a way to start from scratch keeping the inventory I've got listed and formatting?

I am in the same boat here. Most of my hair is gone from pulling it out (day and a half on this)

I checked MySql email archive and nothing has been posted to it.

Sendmail looks like it sends it but doesn't
PHP give an error
SMTP fails to connect
SMTPauth says from email failed

HELP! Please!

Talk to godaddy - ask them exactly what the email settings should be.

They told me to use SMTPauth but that did not work. Talked to Godaddy three times, they say they don't do support for ZC. Not sure where to go from here.

Please reset your SMTPauth settings in the Admin, then post them here (mask your password)

What "from" email address are you using?
