Could someone point me in the right direction.

Ok, I have recently bought an ssl and have searched tons and tons of zen-cart forums, but none really give a how to on installing. If there is such a forum could someone please point me in the right direction please.

If there are diffrent forums for diffrent types of host or ssl this is what i have.

I have hostpapa.com and I bought a ssl from godaddy it is the turbo ssl.

The only things I have done are have my host install my ssl certificate onto my cpanel in manager ssl. I have no clue what to do from there I have never done this before.

Thanks

Matt

IF your host has installed the SSL for you then you need to open
includes/configure.php and make sure that the https url define is correct, then you need to set SSL to true, save and re-upload
do the same for admin/includes/configure.php

Ok thanks a lot. This helped out much. I will just follow the directions from the tutorials area.

This is my first ssl ever so I suck. However when I mean that they installed it they only installed it to my cpanel. Does this mean that when I edit those files it will pick up on it from my ssl manager from my cpanel.

I also noticed I have two files in a folder called ssl now it is my certifacted and my csr, if I go into a sub there is a key. Does anything need to go into this folder at all or do I only need to edit those files.

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks for you reply and help.

no the SSL is all server side,
all you need to do is tell ZC to switch to https when needed and this is done in the configure files
