Request Restock Mod Thread

yellow1912:

No, it's the newest

Are you sure that you uploaded all the files in the folder "email" to your corresponding folder on the server?

Great add-on! Everything works well except that I'm having the same email issue as the previous poster. The is no active link within the notice to the customer once the item has been re-stocked. I did confirm and re-loaded the file within the mods "email" folder. You say "all the files" but there is just the one: email_template_request_restock.html Is that an issue?

I'm running zen version 1.3.6

Thanks

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

Yes, it is the only file there. You upload it to the already existing 'email' folder which already has several other email templates right?

Also open the file admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/request_restock.php, check line 105, does it look like this:

$error = zen_mail($name, $email, $subject, $email_text, STORE_NAME, EMAIL_FROM, $html_msg, 'request_restock');

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

Ok, I found the problem, it happens when you send email as text, not html. I will look into it and try to fix this as soon as possible.

Thanks for the quick response - Yes, that is the folder I uploaded to and yes, the request_restock.php codes do match exactly.

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

I'd like to thanks MeltDown for being very patient and helped me a lot to fix this. The hot fix:
Download:
File
https://svn.rubikintegration.com/zencart_mods/request_restock/admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/request_restock.php

Then upload it to your server, overwrite the old file.

This fix will be included in a new version later.

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

Great mod!!!
I've a little question.
Box for message is irregular:
http://www.100asa.it/sony-4-rulli-di-carta-13x18-per-updr150-p-1355.html?language=en
I've set it to 20, but nothing change.
And then in admin/catalog-->request in option dropdown I see no choose.
Question: email to customer when the stock back to >1 send automatically, or I send it to them?

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

After changing it to 50, have you run the "Send notices to customers ...." in admin->catalog->request restock?

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

Make sure you have all the files uploaded correctly. It'd be great if you can go to admin->catalog->request restock, then on that page right click to view source code, copy those and attach it here.

Regards.

another strange thing: the second request you see, I've write it for test, 20 quantity; why show me 40?
it's possible send automatic notification email when stock back to >1?

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

First thing first, we have to solve the mystery why the drop down list does not appear. So attach the content of that file(request_restock.php) on your server here

Re: Request Restock Mod Thread

This might not be the error, but I have noticed that you use a different language instead of english. There are several language files that needed to be uploaded to 'eng', but since you don't use english to have to upload them to your language folder.

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
