postage per item

is there a mod that can be installed so that when im entering my product information and the images etc etc is there a mod so that i can add a postage and packaging cost for that item?? simular to ebay for example. ie i go a fridge that cost £10 to post and a freezer thats £15.

this would make it much easyer for me and i guess others who have there products posted direct from the supplier and we have over 100 suppliers

actally i was thinking, i dont use the weight of the item so could i use that as a measure for the postage costs?? ie if i set the weight to 1kg it will cost £1 to post??

if so how can i alter the cart so that where it shows the weight in kg is says postage cost instead??

Try the Shipping Module Per Unit perweightunit ...

This is designed to charge based on what you enter as"
products_weight

This is multipled by quantity and unit set in the shipping module to produce the price ...

Note: you will need to adjust the Shipping/Packaging settings to allow this to work properly ...

tryed this and it didn't work, set the tair to 0 in config ship packing and all the others to 0:0

but when i set a weight to 2.50 for £2.50 postage the postage come out at 2:80 for some reason.

yeah you can have our site url but you wont see any postage for any items as all items are set to 0kd/lb i set one item to 2.5 kg to test and get the error.

What is the site you are working on? These all have 1kg on the weight ...

Do you have Zones set on the Shipping Module?

sorry the parten entering the products with me much have set some weights to 1kg i didn't know

if weight is set to 1kg then the postage should be £1

Your site is adding in 17.5% tax to your shipping from what it appears to be ...

Turn off the Tax in the Shipping Module if you are not intending to use it:

Tax Class
Use the following tax class on the shipping fee.
