IE header and footer troubles - please help - s.o.s.

My header has different problems in various IE versions.
In IE 5 my logo is pushed ofer to the right and my header background image is cut off on the right. In IE 6 the logo is fine but the header is still cut off on the right. I don't have a working version IE 5.5.

In both versions there is a white space below the footer which shouldn't be there.

Any ideas??

The validator is showing three errors in your page. The main two are that one of your script calls does not specify that it's javascript and the other is a problem with an extra body tag around line 183.

Thanks for the reply. I will try and work out the validation issues, but I think the header and footer issues are separate from the validation. I had to do some funky stuff with floats and alignment to get the layout as it is and I think thats whats causing the internet explorer issues. Worst case, I can revert the header and footer layouts back closer to the original template, but I'd rather be able to make it work as is. Any other ideas?

the validator I was speaking of is the one with HTML Validator add on to FireFox.

If you do not fix the javascript style and extra body tag in your in index page, you will be tilting at windmills with any other thing you may do.

The incorrect call of javascript and the extra body tag are causing your index page major problems.
