Could you check the Configuration ... Maximum Values ... for the setting:

Also Purchased Products
Number of products to display in the 'This Customer Also Purchased' box

The default is 6 ...

If it still doesn't work, switch to the Classic Template ... Does it show now when you go to a Product that has been purchased with another Product on an Order that you have made?

I changed to 2 and still nothing shows.

If I try what you said about switching to Classic, should I assume I can switch right back to my custom?

The switch between templates is only valid while switched ... change back and you are back to where you started ...

I switched to the standard template and it still does not seem to show, but it is difficult to tell because the right side of the page shifted where I cannot see its entirity

Need a little help with alsoPurchased.
I added this to my style sheet.

the margin-left accomodates the lefthand column.
Looks like it is being subject to the guillotine effect of haslayout in IE.

I tried position:absolute, but then the footer moves up.
Tried z-index... does nothing.

Check that it is turned on, as explained in post #23 ...

If you still do not see it, switch to the Classic Template and see if your template is broken ...

I went into configuration and changed the number of items to 6 I still don't see it amnd am using the default template. Where shoudl it show up?

Have you made an Order where 2 or more products are purchased together? :unsure:

I am facing the same problem. The alsopurchase box is not show out.

The maximum value already set as below :
Also Purchased Products : 6
Recent Purchases Box- NOTE: box is disabled : 6

If you have the Maximum set to 6 and it is not showing and an order has been placed for that Product and others in the same order then something in your template has either disabled it or it has been excluded ...

If you go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
also purchased products

and search the Catalog ... it will show you where the code is in the default template and you can see if your templates and overrides file has the same code ...

It will either be there and commented out or it would have been removed ...

You can take the code from the original template file to add back into your templates and overrides file, if it is missing or uncomment it if that is the case ...

Commented out code will have two forward slashes // in front of the line(s) of code ...

As to this Recent Purchases Box ... that for the Order History sidebox ...

The the size of the font is too big and red color is noisy.
I want to change that asap.
