What is the different of PayPal IPN and PayPal Express?

Hi all,

What is the different of PayPal IPN and PayPal Express?

I want to upgrade to 1.3.7, but not understand what different of them, and how it will effect the customers.

Express is slightly faster than IPN if you already have a PayPal account.

I believe only IPN offers buy without a PayPal account so this seems the better option to me. Which to use depends on your situation though. Try both.

Using Express Checkout qualifies you for free transactions if you get in on the current PayPal promotion ... transaction fees waived for Express Checkout purchases.
