My Shipping Estimator just stopped working

Don't know what happened. Estimator was working fine yesterday. Just went in to do a test order and it stopped. But, I do see the shipping choices when I go to checkout.

Also, my USPS shipping module stopped too. It's giving me an error:

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

What should I check next?

Make sure you have the updates to USPS installed ...

They are in the current release of Zen Cart v1.3.7.1 in addition to other issues:

Thanks Linda. I'll double check that I did that.
That might take care of the USPS issue, but what about the estimator not working. It doesn't even open up. When I click it I get my hourglass. It churns for a while then just leaves me where I am.

And, I was probably wrong about the estimator having worked before. It worked on my local site, but not sure if I tested on my live site. Went live on 7/4. Doubtful about it having worked on live site because it doesn't work on my 2nd site, https://www.rabbitinmyhat.com. I put that one up on the 4th too.

How do I track down the estimtor issue?

Don't I feel stupid?

My estimator pop-up is popping up now. I have no idea what's going on. Are transient issues to be expected?

It could of been you had the popup open already and minimized ...

You might have worn out your browser in testing ... it could be a lot of reasons ... :smile:

As long as it was temporary, I'd not worry about it at the moment ...

Straightened out my USPS problem. It helps to type the USPS Web Tools User ID correctly.

I think I'll go take a nap.
