Master Products

Hi! I'm new here, but a long time user of oscommerce. I want to start a new store but I just dont find any module like oscommerce's Master Products contribution.

Although this is not an oscommerce store its very similar:

Its there ant mod to do that? Thanks.

Have a look in Admin>Configuration>Layout Settings
and set "Main Page - Opens with Category" to the category of your choice.

Hi, thanks for the reply. No, I'm looking to diplay a Master product and in the same page display "slaves", the same model just a different part number, as show in the link.

Master Product page show the description and picture of the product and below shows the different part numbers that you can add to the cart.

In that case, have you looked at product attributes?

You can use the attributes on a product to have a single master product listed with varous choices. You can for example sell a t-shirt (Master) with choices of red, green, white, etc. as attributes (part numbers/slave products)

louis, how did you set this up using product attributes? i'm trying to figure it out but having no luck.
