two URLS- Same Database - Want to Customize each! HELP

Hi there,
I installed Zen cart to two different sites. I linked then up to the same database (to ge the same products and keep the same customers database etc) but when i try to customize them to look like different sites.... they each end up the same template (the custom one i downloaded from the Zen cart sites contrbutions)..

What I'd Like:
A way to have two different sites with the same inventory bank, customer database, shipping and everything else,
BUT I want them on different URLS and to use different Templates...

Any ideas on what I can do to mod it so that I can use two different templates for the different urls...??

You are using same database, so both sites using same named template..
to get around this..
add a different template to one site,
but name it the same as the other site so
template1 is used in templates folder on zencart site 1
template2 is renamed to template1 and uploaded to zencart site 2
