Number item in month special (main)

is there an option to limit the number of special item display on the home page (not sidebox). Let say i have 10 special items but only want to randomly display 6 items on the home page.

thanks

Peek in the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

There are several limits for the various settings such as:

Maximum Display of Specials Products - Main Page
Number of special products to list on main page
