Cross-selling for articles

Cross-selling for articles

Hi,

I'm looking for a solution to show in the product page links to articles related to that product. It would be kind of a cross-sell but instead of products it would be showing links to related articles.

So that I can have a related products and a related articles info in the product page.

Any suggestions?

If you look in the Downloads > Marketing Tools section of this site, there are three cross-sell add-in modules: "Better Together", "Cart Upsell" and "Cross Sell".

There's no add-in mod that I know of that would do precisely this.

There might be a way to set the article links up as attributes - but this isn't a area in which I have much experience or knowledge.

Perhaps you can use the Document Product for your articles and then add them to the products with one of the cross sell modules? (note I haven't tried this)
