Stop displaying New Products

How do I stop the first page of the site showing the "New Products for..." ?

Peek in the Configuration ... Index Listing ...

There are sets for the Centerboxes ... 0 = OFF and any other value is the Sort Order for that section ...

Note: there is also a set in the Configuration ... Stock ... to configure the Centerboxes on the shopping cart page when it is empty ...
