Creating the configure.php files

*'Two files need to be created on the server. These are the configure.php files that identify the settings of your particular server and the location of the files that you just loaded.'

Can anyone please explain how this is done in more detail ?.....I have maintained my own site** for a year** and even installed a cart on it in the past but this has truly thrown me....

Re: Creating the configure.php files

Just rename the includes/dist_configure.php and admin/includes/dist_configure.php

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: Creating the configure.php files

Thanx for that. I eventually found the relevant instructions in the unzipped files.
Thanx again
