Does anyone know how to setup shipping in this way...

I need 2 "flat rate" shipping costs as follows

US, (except the states AK,HI) $4.95

CANADA, and US states AK, HI $9.95

I don't need them to be price by item, address, or weight. Just FLAT rate regardless.

I currently have 2 zones setup US and CANADA, but as you would suspect, how do I go about setting up the states?

Clone flat.php to flatus48.php and flatcad.php ...

Build the zones for the US 48 States ... don't forget DC ...

Build the zone for Canada plus Hawaii and Alaska ... consider what to do with the US Territories and Islands and Armed Forces ...

Add the zones to your cloned shipping modules and you now have them doing everything you need ...

NOTE: this can be done with just the one clone for flatcad.php ... but incase you need others later it helps you know who is who in the zoo ...

should come up with numerous threads on how to do this over the last month to year ... it is a common request for cloning flat or item etc.

I made it a long time ago, but it had the breakdown for the 48 states ...

Might be able to find it via a search on:
zones_to_geo_zones
