Tracking system for gift certificates in customer account page

I am wandering if there is a way to have a tracking system or history in the customer order pages or somewhere else belongs to customer, than the customer knows and see the gift certificates that s/he has sent to his friends and etc.
actually, in admin, we can see who is the receiver, but the customer always want to see the things clear after his action.

1- can somebody help me to solve this problem?
2- if no, does somebody knows any software(program ) that my customers can have a account page to see their transactions and sending /receiving moneys , like paypal pages?
3- how much this gift certificate system, and discount copoun is secure, my customers are wondering when they see a huge amount of purchased certificates appear only in a number aside of their account page without any more details? it's why I wanted to implement or use and use manually another program with more details for their transactions.
