I need help with DEFINE PAGES EDITOR

I have managed to set up most of my zen cart but have come undone on trying to put my own text onto my Conditions of Use, Privacy, etc pages. I have tried doing it through both the Define Pages Editor in Admin, and also inserting the text in the php file and ftping it through, but all to no avail.
Please help,
Cindy

Re: I need help with DEFINE PAGES EDITOR

If you are using a template with a name - insure that you create a folder for it at includes/languages/english/html_includes/your_template_name
and copy the defines pages to it and set permissions to writeable on the files while you are editing them

Re: I need help with DEFINE PAGES EDITOR

I'm just using the classic template - don't want to confuse myself with new templates just yet, being such a newb, and not at all computer literate! I have ftp'd them to a folder (and changed them to writeable - 777) on my computer and tried inserting them...but no good. Is anyone able to tell me the code that I should have before and after the text I want to insert?
Many many many thanks for ANY and all help!!

Then you should be editing and uploading or editing through the admin the files at this location

/includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic

In Admin: Tools -> Define Pages Editor

I may be blond but at least I found Zen.
