Embedding a feed in a product description

I'm not sure if this is in the right sub-forum - apologies if it isn't!

I use Document - General product pages to give each of my 'recommendations' a mini review. If the recommended party has a web site I provide a link to that site in my page. No problem so far - I use their icon, logo, whatever and from there it's a simple bit of html.

I'm now trying to add a supplier who has a 'Giveaway of the Day' (free licenced software) which, not surprisingly, changes daily. They have a feed that can, supposedly, be embedded in web pages. I would like to embed it in their document in my Zen Cart site.

It appears to be some CSS code followed by a call to a JAVA script.

I can add it - and get it to work - but if I try to edit it HTMLarea (I think) messes with the code and it stops working.

Any thoughts?

We're now settled in at our final home - http://www.swiftbooks.co.uk - where you'll find an eclectic collection of used books. Still a lot of work to do, though!
