Replace Logo.gif with an HTML File

i was wondering how i could replace logo.gif with an HTML File. what i would like to do is have a table in my header with an image as a background and button links on top of the image.

You can insert whatever HTML you want in your tpl_header.php file, but I'm puzzled as to why you'd want to put a layout table in there when the Zen Cart teams have worked so hard to advance beyond them.
