using swf files for product images

Hi All!

This is my first post so be gentle with me!!!

I am wondering if it possible to use an .swf file as part of the product listing display?

As opposed to using gif/png/jpg files can I use an swf file?

If I can what do I need to change? I have tried uploading swf files to my demo/first installation of zen cart - but all I get is the "?" where the swf should be - the usual formats gif/png/jpg work fine but not swf :(

Is this possible?

Any help would be great even if only to say that "no - it is not possibe"

Thanks in advance folks
D

Re: using swf files for product images

Zen Cart doesn't currently support the use of SWF for product images out-of-the-box.

While it could be done with some extensive custom coding, you would be best advised to get used to using Zen Cart before concentrating on choosing swf vs an image file.
