All products on main page

I am wondering what is the easiest way to just have all of the products list on the index page by default.

I do not want to use any modules or anything, just a list of products....we only have 6 that are sorted by the sort order we listed.

Put all the products in a category and set in the Layout Settings:

Categories - Always Show on Main Page
Always Show Categories on Main Page
0= off
1= on
Default category can be set to Top Level or a Specific Top Level

Main Page - Opens with Category
0= Top Level Categories
Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10

Or ... you can add them all to Featured Products ...

Or ... you can make your own Centerbox for display ...

Now, what template file would I modify to arrange how I want the layout to be on the home page? I would like it to be like this:

PRODUCT TITLE
PRODUCT IMAGE ADD TO CART
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I have been playing with quite a few files but nothing seems to change anything.

That is the Product Listing that is displaying as you have set the Category to be displayed on the main page ...

Before changing that page, consider ...

If only Featured Products Centerbox was there ... is that a better opening to your site?

If you had an introduction plus all products ...

Or, peek through the Zen Cart Showcase at the top of your screen for some display ideas ...

NOTE: Product Listing is used on the Search as well as the Category listing ...
