Getting rid of category count

On the left hand side I have a box that lists my categories. In parenthesis beside each category there is a number which tells the customer how many items are in that category. How do i get rid of that number??

yes, thanks.....have been there and could not find what I was looking for (too much wealth of info :) so I thought I would ask here. I always go to the Faq first but sometimes there is so much stuff it is hard to pin down the one answer I need :) Course you found it right off the bat! ROFL

ok, well i looked at that and its not exactly what I need.....i need to find where I can set the show categories count to false.....i dont see it in that area. I will keep looking. :oops:
